If we had to describe this cheese in one word, it would be DECADENT.
Thankfully, this is our website and we can write as much as we want.
Sherry Gray is a relatively new cheese from Jasper Hill in Greensboro, Vermont. It's made with pasteurized cow's milk and ash-ripened. It's beyond buttery. It's deliciously grassy. It is one of the most luxurious cheeses in our case. If you want to live like a monarch, grab the nicest bottle of champagne you can find and a wheel of Sherry Gray. Drink from the bottle and eat the wheel like an apple. Wear a silk robe. Act like you own the place and all the places as far as you can see. Philippe from Charles Heidsieck did it on a livestream with us once, and he looked very, very happy while doing it. Don't take our word for it though, you should probably try it yourself.
This cheese is still pretty tightly allocated, so if it's out of stock you should check back in a couple of weeks. We get this cheese fairly often, but it sells out pretty quickly.
